USGBC of Alabama

The USGBC of Alabama promotes cost-effective design, construction, and operation of buildings that are healthy places to live and work, environmentally responsible, and profitable. The organization also serves members and their local communities through promotion and implementation of industry standards, design practices and technologies, green building and design policy advocacy, information exchange, and education. The chapter also encourages a widespread acceptance of LEED certified buildings as the state standard.
