The Canada Green Building Council aims to accelerate the design and construction of green buildings in Canada. The organization is broad-based and includes a coalition of representatives from different segments of the design and building industry.

The Cascadia Region Green Building Council is one of three original chapters of the U.S. Green Building Council.
