City of Gresham Becomes EPA Green Power Community
The City of Gresham has been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as an EPA Green Power Community, becoming the seventh community in Oregon and the 14th in the nation to receive the designation. Xcel MN Customers Save on Wind in July
Minnesota customers that are signed up for Xcel Energy’s Windsource voluntary renewable energy program found a pleasant surprise in their utility bills for July 2008. Windsource customers in the state actually paid less for wind energy than customers paid for fossil-fuel generated electricity.
