Title: Lowe's or Home Depot? Post by: skye on November 12, 2007, 04:14:28 PM Which store is better for materials? Please help.
Title: Re: Lowe's or Home Depot? Post by: HVAC PRO on November 13, 2007, 06:45:52 AM My company spends $20,000 per month with thses two companies.
$15,000 at Home Depot and $5,000 at Lowes. Home Depot has more locations close to where are work is. Pricing and quality seem about the same. Both could use more knowledgeable sales staff out on the floor. Title: Re: Lowe's or Home Depot? Post by: Charles on November 19, 2007, 10:01:49 AM I think Lowes if by far superior. I have never had a good experience in Home Depot, but Lowe's always seems cleaner and better run.
Title: Re: Lowe's or Home Depot? Post by: terrywilson94 on November 25, 2007, 10:16:15 PM I like lowe's better than home depot. Lowes is more attuned to women than home depot. Lowes has more seasonal things than home depot. Knowledge of sales help is about the same, and with price matching there is no difference. Both are trying to become more green. I do not think either more is gung ho into green building materials, they will when it means they make more money. I have seen only a few green things, light bulbs, some insulation and water heaters.
Title: Re: Lowe's or Home Depot? Post by: Jeremy E on January 10, 2008, 07:17:40 PM I have always been more apt to use Home Depot because of the tradition that Arthur Blank instilled in the company. Though I'm not sure as to which offers a more eco-friendly stance.
