Title: Meadowlands
Post by: gbentham on November 18, 2007, 10:57:53 AM
I visited a friend recently in Rutherford, New Jersey, and he took for a visit to the local landfill site!

Well, not exactly. It WAS the main landfill for NYC and surrounding areas, and allegedly a Mafia-related 'dumping ground', but is now a Wetlands Nature Reserve.

Are there any other similar success stories like the Meadowlands?
