Title: reducing waste Post by: Wendy on February 24, 2008, 01:24:13 PM That's the easiest thing to do. Even I can do that. This is my list.
- Cook your food at home instead of buying from takeaways. Its good for your health too. - Cover the bowls with a saucer instead of palstic wrap when putting it in the fridge. Or use reusable conatiners with lids. - Carry your own water, so that you don't have to buy a bottle. If you do buy a bottle, don't throw it, reuse it by filling it with tap water. - Buy second hand stuff whereever posiible. Does anyone has any other ideas? Title: Re: reducing waste Post by: guajero on September 30, 2008, 11:58:37 PM I always tell myself that my waste is someone else's raw material. Buying things in packaging that you know can be recycled or reused is a great way of reducing what goes into a landfill.
