Title: Re: Green Building and Climate Change Post by: ashokkjha on November 16, 2007, 07:01:29 AM This is such an informative article.I did not know that the buildings could be source of carbon dioxide emissions, making our homes and offices a leading contributor to global warming. This awareness needs to be spread far and wide.
Title: Re: Green Building and Climate Change Post by: Kellie on November 20, 2007, 11:52:13 AM It is interesting, especially considering how much cars are demonized in the fight against global warming. What is even more scary is the snowball effect- somehow I doubt we as a people are going to quit cooling our homes as the temperatures keep climbing.
At the same time, making VOC information common knowledge has been popular and pretty effective- more because people are concerned about inhaling poision gas than because they're trying to save the planet, but it's a definate step in the right direction for awareness and effort. I should have known, I simply did not think about it in that light before. Thank you for sharing it with me.
