I think it's definitely a good thing that the same people who revolutionized internet industries see energy as a market where similar revolutions can take place.  There is so much room for bringing better solar products to the market, and publicizing them in a way that will finally help renewable energy gain on other forms of energy generation.

Who doesn't love the sun? It is one of the most important renewable and clean resource.

The sun is great, in my opinion. I actually have some solar panels on my house, and on sunny days, they work wonders. Unfortunately, it's not enough to power the whole house...but hey, cuts the bills.

On another note, you know a great renewable energy source once they get it working? Nuclear fusion. See, unlike current nuclear plants, power through fusion is generated by combining atoms, not blowing them apart and causing mass destruction and death. It is perfectly safe, generates no radiation whatsoever, harmful or harmless, and is potentially the greatest source of energy ever. Of course, it won't be ready for commercial use for probably another 50 years, but it's coming someday.

One of the best uses of solar power for residential uses is Solar hot water heating. I think it should be mandated that all new homes come with this proven technology...people would save a lot of money in the long term!!

India celebrated today the fesival of "chath",where in the Sun god is worshiped.A study has revealed that India receives 25% less Sun rays compared to 20 years ago.Everybody should value the contribution of the Sun in our lives.

I love the sun, I think that it's a great source of renewable energy. I just wish that we can totally use it to our advantage. I'm sure there are more ways out there to use the sun.  ???

A cheap but reliable technology aimed at converting the sun’s rays into useful energy would solve the energy problem of the world.

The Sun is a cheap, and practically infinite source of energy. I hope that in the near future, humans can develop the solar cell technology to make it more powerful.

I like the sun a lot, and I love those cars that are driving on solarpower.
Maybe in the future we all will drive solarcell powered vehicles. I think you can even make solarcell driving trains in eg. Africa. -- However magnetic field energy is also some very special thing. Magnetic Energy ?!

Living in a practical desert, I'd be pleased if there were more solar efficient gadgets available. Definitely could make better use of all the sunshine & save some bills too!

Hmm whats not to love about the sun, it keeps us warm and powers the weather on our world.  Just a pity I don't see more of it here in the UK.
