Cherokee, a North Carolina based private equity firm specializing in sustainable redevelopment of environmentally impaired properties, just received LEED platinum certification for its new corporate headquarters under the USGBC's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program. 

Cherokee's LEED Platinum Headquarters

Cherokee's LEED certified building is the first in North Carolina and one of only 61 in the world.
