"This skyscraper, to be built in Dubai, is called the Burj al-Taqa ('Energy Tower'), and it will produce 100% of its own power. The tower will have a huge (197 foot diameter) wind turbine on its roof, and arrays of solar cells that will total 161,459 square feet in size."

Hilarious!  Cheesy

The '197-foot diameter wind tower' should not be confused with a wind turbine generating electricity: the article tells of this ancient Persian design as  'natural air-conditioning', and that too should not be confused with any equipment made by Carrier and the like.

Referring to Frank Herbert and his book Dune for which he 'borrows many things from Middle Eastern philosophy and design' is risible too. The title of the book gives the clue here, 'Dune'.
