I have made a small change. I don't know if it will make a big diffrence but I still want to share.
I never paid my bills on time. Not that I don't have money but it was lack of time and a bit of laziness as well. This resulted in plenty of reminders. I have now decided that I wil pay all my bills on time. This will save all that paper that was used to send me reminders. Not to mention the man hours and fuel wasted on those reminders.

The best way to reduce the amount of extra papers being wasted on bills is to sign up for a paperless statement and pay your bills online from your bank automatically.  This way, you won't be late with your bills and you are saving some trees at the same time.

A good use for dry empty cartons and cardboard liners or envelopes is saving them in a separate drawer cut or divided by tearing into squares for scratch note paper for write lists or trial designs for your personal projects.
