These are the 5 least green cities in the Northwest according to Sperling's BestPlaces:

Idaho Falls, ID
Casper, WY
Anchorage, AK
Lewiston, ID-WA
Kennewick-Richland-Pasco, WA

Well, I know that Portland is one of the MOST green cities in the NW.

Well, as all of these places have too low populations to justify investing in a public transport scheme, aren't able to exploit natural forms of energy, and have sky-high heating due to being under 3 feet of snow 9 months out of the year, I wouldn't look at this as too damning Wink
