We have an 18 year old unit that needs serious repair. There are many options versus 18 years ago. The loops are in fine shape, it it is just the unit we are deciding one. Can you grade the different systems out there?

In the interest of fair disclosure, in addition to this website we have a stake in a distributorship for ClimateMaster units in south Texas.

That being said, with a little more information, we'd be happy to help get
you more information on your options.

1. What is the tonnage of your current unit?
2. What type of loops are installed?
3. Where are you located?
4. Manufacturer of your current unit?  Maintenance issues to date?

Other things to consider would be cost vs. performance.  When we chose to
ClimateMaster, we did so because they have hands down the most
efficient unit out there.

The only issue is its a little pricey - if price is a concern than this could be an issue.

Anyway, we'd be more than happy to help - it would be educational for us
as well to take another good objective look at the competition.

Thanks for the info, I think we will go with it to replace our old unit.
